Canada still remembers you...

even though you are a long way from home.

We stopped in at the Commonwealth War Graves on Ameland when we were biking around the island.  Most who are buried here are airmen whose bodies washed up on shore. The war graves are located in Nes, next to the church.

Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada was killed during the raid on Dieppe in 1942 and his body washed up on Ameland.
