Taxation in Denmark

Last Sunday when the boys were at the Liseberg amusement Park in Sweden they decided to place a wager on what they described as a "chocolate roulette wheel".

When we picked them up at the park entrance they were carrying a huge Marabou chocolate bar - 2 kilograms of Swedish chocolate.

Denmark has high personal income and sales tax rates, but what the boys had not counted on was the dreaded "dad tax" which can be applied randomly throughout the day on consumable products.
